Basic Facts
Windowed and fullscreen.
Mouse is is not captured while in title-screen or options menus. It is captured inside the actual game. It is fixed to the center of the screen. You cannot leave the game without the ability to press the ESC key. Therefore you can’t use Alt Controller or any OSK.
Enable Viacam LMB does work.
Mouse is released in the menus, but OSK doesn’t work as one would expect.
Controller enabled.
Voice Activated Commands app does work. It’s the only means to play this game with mouse only. The most important command in a Defense Grid profile will be „Escape“ bound to the ESC-key.

Controls fully customizable.
Smartbomb that clears the battlefield within a circlular area requires you to push a certain key. It’s not possible to do that with an OSK. VAC speech recognition can do that.

Big brown menus with yellow font/indicators.
Tutorial text in white on dark background.
Reticle is green.
‘next attackers’ indicator colors: red, orange, yellow, green.
Subtitles in bright orange on dark orange background.
Sound
Separate volume control for overall, music, effects and narrator.
